the ESO has gone country

ESO=edmonton symphony orchestra. ESO+Paul Brandt=one phenomenal concert. Which I did indeed experience today. Yeehaw! A spur of the moment decision that left me with goosebumps because Paul Brandt has an amazing voice. Deep. So deep.
I skipped out on my critical appraisal class today with a couple other girls and we hopped on the LRT, headed downtown to the Winspear and experienced an hour and a half of bliss. Well, okay, that may be exaggerating it slightly, but for that amount of time I didn't think about school and simply enjoyed the gift of music. I truly loved every second of it. Go Paul Brandt!! The Winspear has great acoustics and it's a relatively small venue which made the concert that much more fabulous. And on that note, enought procrastinating, I have an exam to prepare for. I'd encourage everyone to listen to a little Paul Brandt..you too shall be impressed with his baritone-ness.

Hey Jen! Ya go Paul! While we were in Williams Lake last year we heard him at an outdoor concert during the Stampede then the next day surprisingly met him at Stillwood Camp while he was on his way to a Vcr concert. Not only a great singer but also a great guy, very friendly and conversational at least he was with Heather, Noah and I. Very cool that you could go and see him. Talk to you later! From us Al and Heather
