This past week has been crazy busy, saying goodbye to close friends and family, packing up a UHAUL and setting off for Edmonton. I left with my mom and dad on tuesday afternoon and spent the night in Merritt with my grandparents. We had a birthday dinner for my mom (it was her birthday on thursday...she's looking good for a 40ish year old ;) at my aunt and uncle's house and it was a fabulous way to spend my "last night" in B.C. We had some good laughs around the dinner table-so much so that after my grandpa said something, I nearly spit all the water out of my mouth I was laughing so hard. My cousin Dan told us a story about grabbing the shoulders of a lady in the store that he thought he knew (turns out he didn't-but he did help her in Canadian tire earlier that day) to say hello and when he realized he didn't know her, he just went along with it and pretended to want to know how she was doing. (You had to be there to realize how funny this story really is...) Ahh, thanks for the story Dan, I won't forget that one or how Grandpa proceeded to quote a fake line from the paper...."ardent lover, arrested in store for harassing...". Wow, I am so blessed to have such a great family. Thanks for all the laughs guys-I'm looking forward to Christmas! Oh, and Grandma, what was your favorite word again? NOW THAT'S SOME FARM TALK! Here's some pics from the night. Love you all lots!
