Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

"oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful"...a fun Christmas song. Well, the weather outside is NOT frightful, nor do I have a fire in which to delight in but it did snow over night and was snowing when I woke up this morning! I LOVE SNOW! God' creativity shines through a fresh blanket of snow--making everything seem new and pure and clean. White--everywhere I look. It's unfortunate that as the day goes by and people get in their cars and drive, the snow turns to slush, becomes a little muddy and suddenly doesn't look the way it first did when it fell. Isn't that the way it always is though? God creates, we destroy. Not always purposefully of course but nonetheless, inevitably, we keep coming back to the place of needing His grace to wash us clean. What a joy it is to experience the power of His love, covering all of our sins, enveloping us in an embrace to remind us of His sacrifice. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
