Things I observed, heard and thought...
-the one person on campus with a scarf wrapped several times around his face. even though it was warm out. 7 degrees warm out. and everyone else was in spring jackets, vests or sweatshirts. made me look twice and wonder...
-doors, in general, cause me trouble.
-a person's head is heavy.
-i miss my dad. i miss my whole family actually. but i miss my dad. there is nothing like a hug from my dad.
-walking down stairs, talking and eating a granola bar and yoghurt at the same time is not a good combination.
-the man on the street who showed me something he found today as i was digging for some change. it said, "you might be having a bad day...but it could always be worse".
-prayers are answered. sometimes quickly.
-when my car is so dirty from the changing weather that i can hardly tell it is black, this bothers me. i like a clean, shiny car.
-there are two words that should never be used in the same sentence. i won't tell you what they are but i'd like to hear what you think these two words are in your life...
-a quiet coffee shop is a blessed relief.
-hearing the voice of a forever friend is great. even if there is no time to talk.
-i enjoy listening to chilean accents.
Last, this is something I heard today and wanted to quote it because I believe it.
-sometimes the expected pales in comparison to the unexpected.

Those are some great observations Jen :) And I would agree with the last quote...so true!
I'll be praying things "settle down" for you soon...love ya!
Sounds like a great road trip! Road trips always have so many fun memories attached. I also like your observations! I think my two words for today would be "relaxed atmosphere". Since I am looking for work and NOWHERE I HAVE EVER WORKED has had a relaxed atmosphere, so I don't believe it when they say it.
I'll email you about shin spints.
i liked your observations as well. one thing; i thought at first glance that chilean accent, read children's accent.. and i love children's accents, they are so cute...little british or irish or aussie accents...
anyway...
good luck with the door opening and eating on the stairs...
jamie
*sigh*
I miss you too.
*sigh*
How was the weekend of Hoopfest? Did Bethany do well?
heeheee, I thought it said "children" too! And same here, those little aussies are sooo cute when they talk like yokuls (sp?) "daddy, daddy, where's me ball?"
Chilean. I know, random. But we have a T.A. for one of our classes and he is from Chile. And I have to strain to understand him. But, it sounds cool...
whatever is happening in your dislay picture is NOT good.
I concur that a dad-hug beats all.
