Puddles

Puddles are dirty. And they sometimes get in my way. But puddles mean that spring is coming. Puddles mean that the sun will actually feel warm, that the grass will soon turn green and flowers will begin to pop up everywhere. Puddles are my sign that the winter does not last forever.
Another beautiful day to be thankful for. I went for a walk which turned into a lesson in puddle jumping. And then quickly turned into a game: how many puddles can I navigate, uhhh, rather, avoid, okay, hop around, without getting wet? It was more a game of survival. Surival of the dryest. I am thoroughly enjoying the sun, the warmth (relatively speaking!) and the opportunity to be outside without bundling up.
I'm off to a girls night now...after a long few weeks of non stop studying for exams, I deserve a break! Ciao, friends.

Yeah I am experiencing the same feat of puddle jumping. Today however I could not avoid one that had me trapped on all sides and I have to say I was defeated and the puddle consumed my shoe. But that is a little sacrifice for the warmth that is coming, I too like knowing that winter will not last forever like it seemed it would. Have a good weekend in the sun yo.

Hey Vicks. Sometimes puddles do defeat us. Isn't there some song that says "Can't go around it, can't go over it, can't go under it, have to go through it??" Anyway, at least by going through it we get to the other side! Have a good weekend yourself! Love ya!

You are just so wonderful. And I would LOVE to go puddle jumping with you---although I must say I will be more than pleased if the sun is SO hot when I come that there will be no puddles.
I'm glad to hear that you finally took a break from studying--hope you girls had a great night!
Love you J-La :)

PS: I'm gonna try to call you today sometime...so keep your phone on!

Dear K,
You and Leah???? Don't you even tell me that you talk to her more than i do...not cool. OK, so it wouldn't take much to talk to her more than i do because I am a terrible friend, but still....how is she? And why do you think Jen is wierd? :)haha

bon, yes jen is wierd, she is my sister, so that alone makes her wierd.
i chat with leah every now and then on msn, and we established that we are both wierd, so with me being wierd, and jen being my sister, that automatically makes her wierd too. :P

a random quote:
constipated people don't give a crap

kevin-your philisophical reasoning about why I am weird (p.s. check your spelling)is lacking. nice try though.

The only puddles I see these days are the ones formed from the sweat that drips off me.

My favourite thing to do in the Spring in Edmonton is make boats out of sticks and float them down the side of the street into the sewer.
