Crotch breaks and colour

I think autumn is beautiful. And the best part about autumn this year was the week and half of summer-like weather we had. Not only were colours bursting forth everywhere I looked, the warm sunshine on my bare arms made my heart smile.
My friend Jamie and I went for several bike rides last week in the river valley in Red Deer. We made several pit stops (err.. crotch breaks) along the way to "rest" and to take pictures. Above are only a few of the beautiful sites we encountered along the way. Did I mention how beautiful it was? It was beautiful.
My days in Red Deer are up as I finish off my last placement ever tomorrow. I have been so blessed by the people I have worked with and have had such a fun time over the past 6 weeks. One of my clients gave me a bottle of wine today and some of the girls took me out for lunch. Top that off with a contract offer from the clinic manager and I can't have asked for much more from this placement! I have a few big decisions to make in the next few months but for now...I'm happy to just enjoy the autumn colours and sunshine!

haha, I was wondering what the heck a "crotch break" possibly was. NOw I hear ya. I used to ride my father-in-laws street bike, when there weren't any extras lying around, and boy oh boy, I don't know how some people can build up calluses that big to stand riding those performance bikes. Now I stick to the single gear, back peddle bike.

And it sure does look beautiful out there! I miss the fall. Glad you had such a good experience at placement too!

Happy Thanksgiving my dear! I'm actually in Cache Creek right now-- heading back from PG! Juergen's laptop picked up the wireless internet connection so I am quickly cruising through some blogs :) Glad you're done placement and that it went well! We'll definitely have to talk as soon as studying slows down for you a bit. I miss you lots and I'll call you soon!

Seriously isn't autumn the greatest though! I ADORE IT! I'm in Edmonton right now for the weekend for a wedding- I wish we had more time so we could connect! I just thought of it now.
